The outfit is simple but anyone who knows drow knows simple means deadly. Were the ears latex appliances?

Hehe, thank you very much! Indeed it is like that. Simple also means silent in that case ;-). Death from above and from everywhere else *smile*. Well thats absolutly correct, the ears were premande latex appliances / bought. Used extra strong Mastix to glue 'em on, as I made my job as TechOrga and Second ConOrga on that day and therefor had some rush and lots of stuff to do... And so that they won't come off - I used the extra strong. But that was an hell of getting the stuff out again ;-).

but looking at the pics the results are worth it, thank you for all the help. one last question, did you have to paint the ears or were they already black?

Not a problem at all, if you have any questions left, feel free to ask any time. I'm far from beeing an professional, and I'm not good looking either (well, actually I did work onto that cosplay and did do it as I lost 24 kg during military service and some changes in food and stuff and wanted to strengthen my not aviable ego ^^'''';) - but I try to help out if I can ^_^.

Soooooo... I did paint them black myself with the same grease. Worked out very good, but you normally can't really clean them anymore. So, thats something to have to lookout for if you want to use the same ears again for some lightelf cos or something. But beeing Drow is a "one time thing" - its like the Army: Once Soldier, you stay one - but an cruel black one in that case ;-).

Awesome, what did you use to paint your skin? Is it grease makeup?

Thank you very much ^_^. Glad you like it!
Yeah, on this i used grease / creme makeup together with "makeup-binding-powder" to even give it more stability. i think it were about 3 layers or so. it never dryed ;-)... you have an shitty live as Tech Orga on a Con, doin' the Stage and Computer Tech, but its very funny and damn cool as well at the same time ;-)... ^.^. Thanks! If you need more information, don't hesitate ^^.
