Serously, you deserve some kind of award for being willing to do that to your skin! How long did it take to get the make-up on?
first, thank you very much for your kind message ^.^.
*haaaaaaaapppppppppppppppppy ^.^*
sooooooo but now to your questions ^.^.
that color wasn't black shoe polish - that would go off faaaaaaaaaaaar to easy
now, seriously: that color has some really great advantages, as it does really cover everything and really not one bit of skin shines through. second: you can't sweat it off. seriously. you CAN'T! third: it keeps you damn warm. i did that cos in november '08 and run around at 00:00 in the night in storming rain a bit over zero celsius.... XDD... says everything i think.
disadvantages: its damn expensive. that color used on that pic cost me about 18-20 bucks. second: you can't fix it on your skin. everything you're just looking it gets some color. really, i left some inprints... everywhere... XD... but: even if you loose massvie amount of paint - nothing will shine through. that stuff lasted on me after i glued some plastic wraps around me for driving home... the whole sheets were deep black - and i looked the same way as before.. last: you can't get it off easily...
getting that cos on was quite ok. took me one hour with an experianced make up guy. and an girl helped me with some minor stuff.
getting it OFF was the real problem. took me over 1 1/2 hour with three people, including myself. best thing for that color: some fat cleaning solution. just water and soap will do - but not as "fast" as i got it off with that cleaning stuff.
*hehe* and i would love that award XDDD...
its also problematic for your whole system, not only for the skin. you shouldn't wear it for too long, as you're risking an bioshock. i kept it on from mornings 10 am to morning about 2 am... that was DAMN too long and i felt already the weight on my lunghs and breast. seriously, i wouldn't recommend wearing that stuff on such big parts for more than some hours if you're in bad constitution or do not know what you're doing ^^''''.
my make up guy had already serval occasions to withness breakdowns by ppl with less color on their skin so... xDD....
thanks for the message by the way ^.^
Massive amounts of gold paint won't kill despite the Hollywood myth, but apparently massive amounts of black make-up can. XD
*gives award* XD
Thanks for the really long response! And yes, in that kind of weather thick black make-up would be good. In Summer you would have probably passed out and woken up in the ER...if you woke up at all..0_o...XD
well nope they won't kill.
but an bio shock ain't good if you're the damn second con manager and con manager-in-command for that day you're doing that cos and you're the tech orga... so that won't be good xDD...
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! FINALLLLLLY!!! XD I THANK ALL MY FRIENDS AND MY FAMILIY AND ..... XDDD *lol* now its really getting some kind of... XDD...
no problem at all you're very welcome.
lol, yep i might. but... XDD... seeing the face of george cloney, i might had passed out again xDD (OH MY GOSH! DO SOME MORE "FROM DUSK TILL DAWN"! PLESE! XDDD *XDD*)
Oh my, you were 2nd in charge? Yes, getting really sick is bad, even if its not life-threatening...
thats why i needed to stay a bit in shape Xd...
well.
no problem, i handeld it nicely XD
