nice. Did you ever try finishing powder? Gives the skin a richer black, and a even more realistic look, than black paint only (by Kryolan f.e.)

thank you very much. i actually USED half a ton of finishing powder. but it just didn't work out *laugh*. well i will see wheter the new paint works out better. but sadly i think, there won't be any pictures from that ^^''
:iconurikal:
well its fat / creme paint which is used for i.e. theatre ^.^.
thank you very much ^.^!

We use "Camuflage black" a very fine grinded black grease make-up and finish it with bountyful layer of "Kryolan Fixing-powder, black". The result is great! No greasy shin of the skin, no skin showing. And it lasts for hours. If you sweat a bit, just use a tissue to swab (not wipe!) the sweat and put a new layer of powder on top. ^^

as you're german and talk about camo black, i think you refer to the bundeswehr stuff. *laugh* well at least in my service, i had terrible problems with that stuff, as i just sweat it down XDD...

well - didn't know that there is already fixing powder in black color O.o. thats damn cool. well next thing i try will be liquid paint from kryolan and fixing powder. i will see how that will work out.

you're right, it could look better, but at least that was my very first try on doin' an drow or anything with color XDDD... and i could be really happy, as i had someone with me that had done stuff like that more often and therefor it actually worked out ok.

actually, i liked that color because of one thing: i could just sweat through' it - and i was sweating as i was the second orga of that anime / japan convention with 500 ppl and... there was.... "some" trouble. xDDD....
that stuff really held warm in november, annnnd i could do shit like runing around in stormy rain in the middle of the night - and it didn't come down...

so - that stuff was awesome... (awesomly expensive xDDD) but the problem was the thing about "wiping" - if you just looked at something, that color would stick on that object. i hope the kryolan would be better - as i'm planing to go to the farewell party of an for-ages-beeing gothic / metal / medieval party around here. should be shocking enough to stick through the whole industrial b*tches. xDDD... (and thats why i use my own hair this time with white hairspray instead of other stuff - and want an color that "drys" so i can put on an coat or stuff.. XDD)

i know i'm some kind of idiot - but in that term, i can't help myself XDDD.. just want to see these faces.. XDD
:iconcruelcat:
omg - no! no army/bundeswehr camo makeup! this stuff is hell for the skin, and as a matter of fact, the paint we use is much better ^^

oh and we do use whigs, because they just look better... and the hair paint is not getting off either ^^

Good costume. So any new experiments with body paint/face paint? -- in phoenix here it's quite hot =) therefore looking for something of that nature.
